The Group tendered to LTA for the contract to design, supply and erect the shell roof structure for Expo Station on the Changi East line. The tender was successful and the contract awarded to the Group. The contract was subsequently novated to become a sub-contract under the newly appointed general contractor.

It is a requirement of this project that the shell roof structure be left exposed to view and that a very high quality finishes schedule for roof and ceiling be applied. The Yongnam sub�contractor is to provide the roof covering in pure titanium with the ceiling in mirror finished stainless steel.
