Amongst its clients are multi-national corporations and major suppliers of power plant equipment such as Siemens AG, Asea Brown Boveri Ltd and Hitachi Plant Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. These companies have engaged the services of the Group for the installation of turbine generators and auxiliary equipment for the Senoko, Jurong and Seraya power stations in Singapore and the Kenyir hydroelectric power plant in Malaysia.
The Group has also worked with Kaefer Isoliertechnik Gmbh & Co, AG, a market leader in the field of insulated/acoustic panels, to fabricate and erect air intake systems, sound enclosure and exhaust stacks for power stations and processing plants.
Other erection and commissioning projects include:
- Gas turbine (2 x 128 Megawatt) power plant to Combine Cycle Operation at Senoko Power Station completed
- YTL Power Station in Paka/Pasir Gudang
- Electrostatic Precipitators for 120 Megawatt oil fired boilers at Senoko Power Station
- Power Plant Projects in Phu My, Vietnam and Santa Rita, Philippines
- Manjung Power Station
The other industries serviced by the Mechanical Engineering Division include Petrochemical Corporation of Singapore's chemical plant, Singapore Refining Company's refineries, and Mandai Quarry plant. For these projects, the Group provided the installation, fabrication and erection services for mechanical equipment, structures for rotating equipment, conveyor system, piping, and instrumentation arid pumps.
Over the years, Yongnam has been involved in the maintenance of several shipyard facilities, power plants, petrochemical complexes and Incineration Plants.
