Themodular strutting system developed by Yongnam has greater load carrying capacity and provides larger clear spans
than other similar systems currently available in the market. This creates a significant competitive advantage. The use of systematized components allows the Group to respond to clients' requirements immediately and does not require the production or fabrication of these components on site, reducing site activity and improving safety. The System of components may be assembled to provide a structural strutting system appropriate for the majority of excavation support requirements.
- Laced universal beams of various cross-sections in modular lengths.
- Single and double waler beams in various lengths, intermediate supporting beams, king posts, bracing and waler support brackets.
- A range of strut to waler joints has been included to cover the most used angles, however, special angles to suit the site conditions can be accommodated.
As most major basement excavations are carried out on site with little or no access space, often it is necessary to provide a working platform across the excavation for lorries, cranes, and excavator use.
Yongnam is able to provide such platforms to be used in conjunction with the strutting system.
Generally working platforms form a temporary roadway 8.0m wide supported on stage posts which are either incorporated into the permanent pile arrangement or separately driven in locations selected for the platforms. Yongnam provides the design and components for the platforms to take the shape and location selected by the general contractor.
